Christos A. Neophytou acted for the defendants.
Christos A. Neophytou challenged the credibility of all 5 witnesses for the
prosecution including the credibility of the Cyprus Police Officer and the
"expertise" of the Cyprus Police IT expert. The witnesses for the Prosecution,
including the "spy" used by Microsoft Corporation were all undermined due to
effective cross-examination exercised by Christos A. Neophytou on technical IT
matters. As an effect, the prosecution failed to substantiate a case at
first instance for 9 out of 18 charges for which the defendants were acquitted
at once. The Defence then called their own witnesses.
Upon callings their own defence witnesses and with clear and rounded closing
